    Snoring Husband…
When he’s snoring, push him a small just to make him lay on his side. This trick usually works for me..i get very excellent sleep. Works even better when laying on his chest.
Vibrations of soft tissues located at the back of our throats cause the noisy, annoying sounds of snoring that sometimes prevent non-snorers from getting their ZZZZs.
The palate, uvula and tonsils are the tissue structures that flap against each other when someone has too much tissue at the back of their mouth or when an obstruction is blocking the air passageway to the back of the throat.
People with snoring problems tend to have one of the following conditions:
Poor muscle tone in the tongue and throat
    Excessive bulkiness of throat tissue
Long soft palate and/or uvula tissue in the back of the mouth
    Obstructed nasal airways
Snoring can be a serious medical problem because it disturbs sleeping patterns and deprives the snorer of necessary rest.

well,he’s not my husband, but live in boyfriend for 3 yrs.And we haven’t slept in the same room together for about 1 1/2 yrs. now because of that friggin’ snoring! I can know how it ruins a relationship, because we don’t even have an intimate relationship anymore either. He is over weight, has sleep apnea, and blocked nasal passages, so it’s unbearable,I’m sure you know what I’m talking about. But separate rooms did help me finally get my sleep, but it’s how you want to work it out since your married,it’s more of an issue.Excellent luck!

Dear Abby (or Ann) once got a letter from a widow who had complained all her life about her husband’s snoring, but now that he was dead she would give anything to hear it again, and couldn’t forgive herself for having been so hard on him about it. Even through the medium of the newspaper her grief was heartbreaking.
My first wife snored and had screaming nightmares every night. My second wife snores too, but no nightmares. In both cases I took it as comforting proof they were still alive, and lying there in the dark next to me. Now, my first wife can’t snore any more, and her nightmares are over. I miss her every night, and will until the day I quit snoring too.
Either learn to live with it or get a separate bedroom. He’s not doing it on purpose, y’know, and there are worse things that can happen to you than that. A lot worse.

Do what my wife did. She kicked me out of the bedroom. And she complained to everyone we know that my snoring keeps her awake. And to coworkers, and to her parents, and to my parents, and to complete strangers, and to…
You get the thought. And I still snore. In another room. And it bites.

  6. The Ugly Sandhog says:

ha she changed positions while he is asleep, i went through the same with my mom and everytime she started snoring i woke her up and she would change positions, after a while it stopped, kinda make sure his head is up rather than pushing into his chest, that usually blocks airflow and causes snoring

  7. jesjamp says:

They make products that are simple, inexpensive, and require no maintenance to stop snoring.
Try possibly one of these thoughts =)

    excellent luck with the snoring!

  8. Jake says:

There are surgeries he can’t get to stop it. Basically only that, or this: one time, I saw online there was like a “chin-sling” that holds your mouth closed that prevents snoring, it would be kinda embarrassing for him though, hehe.

  9. Bob S says:

Get separate bedrooms. Or sew a tennis ball into the back of a t-shirt for him to sleep in – the tennis ball will dig into him when he’s asleep and encourage him to lie on his side, so he’ll be less likely to snore.

  10. Vertigo says:

!) have him go to the doctor to find out why he snores. Maybe it can be fixed by a procedure.
    2) sleep in separate rooms. Cuddle, have sex, cuddle some more, when he falls asleep, slip out to the other bedroom and close the door.

  11. Serene E says:

snoring means he is worried of getting over a habit, maybe quit smoking or so. If he overcomes that, the snoring will end. meanwhile you could try those small things you place in your ears :) excellent luck

  12. lala says:

It’s time for him to see a doctor he may have sleep apnea which can be quite harmful to ones health.
My husband has sleep apnea. He has a mask like thing he wears while he sleeps and this stops the snoring.

  13. mamamoon says:

If he isn’t overweight an effective cure is a stop snore ring
It works for my wife who used to snore every single night

  14. emperorp says:

Tell him to get checked out by a doctor for medical causes. If he refuses, make him go to the guest room. He’ll get the thought.

  15. Popsfav says:

Mine did too! I seriously spent the entire night kicking him and pushing him so he would sleep on his side.
    Breathe right strips did nothing!

  16. <3 Muslimah <3 says:

Have you tried a fan? It helps make white noise.
Also, does he smoke? People who smoke tend to snore more.

  17. DSatt57 says:

the nasal strips didnt work for me, although they helped a bit. my mother uses ear plugs for my father because she gave up a long time ago.

  18. b says:

Maybe he has a deviated septum….try the doctor.
